I'm considering moving all my newer stuff to a new deviant account so my name isn't"fumiko" anymore, and is something a little bit more professional. i'm thinking deviant art could be a way more useful tool for updating my most current artwork, since re-doing my website takes a really long time.

So here's an update.

Right now I'm living in Los Angeles in the Venice Area. I just got hired to be a henna tattoo artist for a company called "little miss henna", and will be working at a booth in Six flags Magic Mountain (free roller coaster rides are one of the perks). It's a pretty chill sounding job, and I'll be able to use my skillz and be creative, so I'm really looking forward to it.

At the same time, i'm looking for freelance illustration work, contacting people about anything from children's books to edit editorial or character design to photoshop and comp work. I'm slowly teaching myself more about the digital programs I have, and experimenting in new mediums to try and broaden my portfolio.

Thats pretty much it at the moment. Hopefully more finished pieces will be popping up here. Unless I change user names...but we'll see...
